Software I use, gadgets I love, and other things I recommend.

Here’s a big list of all of my favorite stuff.

Workstation

  • 14" MacBook Pro, M1 Pro, 16GB RAM (2021)

A powerhouse in a portable package. Sure, a 16" with 64GB RAM would be a dream, but this little beast is leagues ahead of my old 13" MacBook Air with 8GB RAM.

  • Samsung 32" M7 UHD 3840 x 2160 4K Smart Monitor

Work hard, play harder. This 4K monitor is not just for code—it is my gateway to winding down with Netflix or Disney+ at the end of the day.

  • Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID

Touch ID at my fingertips—literally. The Magic Keyboard is my go-to for seamless security and smooth typing.

  • Apple Magic Mouse with Multi-Touch Surface

Who needs superpowers when you have the Magic Mouse? It’s sleek, intuitive, and makes every swipe feel like magic.

  • Apple iPad 9th Gen with Apple Pencil (USB-C)

My digital canvas and notebook in one. Whether I’m jotting down ideas or sketching out visuals, the iPad and Apple Pencil make it all feel natural.

  • Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen)

My study's command center. From controlling the fan to playing Lo-Fi beats, Google’s got my back without me lifting a finger.

Development tools

  • PHPStorm & WebStorm

I switch between these powerhouses depending on the project. PHPStorm is my choice for Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Yii projects, while WebStorm is my go-to for JavaScript frameworks.

  • Firefox Developer Edition

It’s not just a browser—it’s a vibe. The name alone had me sold.

  • TablePlus

My trusty sidekick for database work. While DataGrid makes an appearance now and then, TablePlus is where I feel most at home.

Design

  • Figma

My experience with design is limited to two projects, but Figma made wireframing straightforward and accessible. That's about the extent of my design journey.

Productivity

  • Notepad (https://notepad.js.org)

When I need to jot something down fast, Notepad is my go-to for quick and simple notes.

  • Pen & Paper

Everything starts on paper for me—ideas, plans, and progress tracking. There’s something about the tactile process that keeps me grounded.
